Chef, DCS Group (Balkan or Afghanistan)

DCS Group is constantly expanding it’s activities and is looking for catering Chefs for our operations around the world.
As Chef in DCS Group, you will daily be responsible for producing high quality food for our customers together with the rest of your team. This typically means 3 buffet meals a day.

Assignments of a DCS Kitchen Chef:

• Responsible for producing high quality food, mostly buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Catering out of house – receptions and a la carte.
• Able to manage, train and coach local workforce.

Your background and knowledge is something like this:

• Educated or trained chef.
• Have Chef Experience of 3 years or more.
• Prior experience of working over seas or abroad with the military.
• Knowledge of international foods is a plus.
• Knowledge of HACCP.
• Some knowledge of basic IT skills (Word, e-mail)
• Speak and read English. Additional languages are a plus.

As a person you are a team player, creative and cost conscious. You should be willing to work abroad for a period of 1 year or more.

You can either advance to Deputy Catering Manager or Catering Manager or try working in some of our other missions.
