DCS Group supply election kits for the Afghanistan election 2009

DCS Group Election department has been awarded the contract for registration kits for the election in Afghanistan. The election is scheduled to take place in 2009 and registration of voters will start on October 2008. The kits are tailored for this order and consist of camera and software, printer, cartridges, batteries, tripod etc.

Order for Arkel International, Al Asad

The US based construction company Arkel International have moved to Al Asad, Iraq, and is now setting up a Life Support Area. DCS Group, Mersin, Turkey, has been awarded the contract for VIP accommodation containers.

Three year contract for new PX shop in Camp Bastion, Afghanistan

DCS Group's PX department has been awarded a three year contract for establishment and operation of a PX shop for the Danish contingent in Camp Bastion, Afghanistan. DCS Group also provides a mail order service to the advanced troops living outside the camp with the opportunity to order basic goods such as toiletries, sweets and softdrinks.

Turnkey contract for Murray & Roberts Habtoor Engineering JV Contruction

DCS Group, Dubai, was recently awarded the contract to manufacture and build the new Site Office for Murray & Roberts Habtoor Engineering JV Contruction on the latest upcoming icon of Dubai - 'The Trump International Hotel and Tower'. The Contract is a turn-key contract including foundation, two-storey building, aircon, toilets and shower facilities, kitchens and stairways.

Contract for Qatar Specialized

DCS Group, Dubai, has won a contract for two "satellite site offices" for Qatar Specialized. The office structure is made of 80 units. Delivery takes place within two weeks to Doha Qatar, where the units will be assembled under supervision of DCS Group.

I-Trac flooring for Danish contingent in Afghanistan

The Danish Air Force has ordered 600 m2 of I-Trac flooring and hangar tent to support the Danish contingent in Afghanistan. The I-Trac solution is especially well suited for heavy loads as trucks, airplanes etc.

Order for Macedonia election 2008

NATO Secretary General Japp De Hoop Scheffer visits DCS Group

February 19th marked the start of the NATO Secretary General Japp De Hoop Scheffer's visit to Afghanistan with his staff to confer with NATO Commanders on the ground in Kabul. During his visit, Scheffer and his staff were made welcome in the DCS Restaurant and catered a full Afghan Style Buffet for 120 people. Additionally, breakfasts were served during the visit, all catered by the DCS staff. Sean Caskie, Country Manager of DCS Group Afghanistan commented that "It shows the reputation of the DCS name and the recognition of our committment to quality, that the NATO Secretary General chose our facility over any other for his meetings and meals. We are honored and pleased that not only did NATO request DCS to provide for these functions, but that we were able to do so on such short notice."

11 buildings for Kandahar Airfield

DCS was recently awarded with the contract to supply prefabs and accessories for 11 buildings in Kandahar Airfield (KAF), Afghanistan. The contract includes supply of nearly 500 prefabs and connection kits from DCS Group’s joint venture factory in Fujairah, UAE. Further the contract will be extended also to include 1,500 m2 of complete corridors. The first shipment will leave the factory between Christmas and New Year 2007.
