WHSmith began trading with DCS in 2013 when we partnered with them to support the implementation of an extended Health and Beauty range in their travel store portfolio.

The introduction of flagship stores within Gatwick and Heathrow airports in 2019 and Manchester airport in 2020 saw the estate grow to its current number of 330 travel stores, across airports, hospitals, railway stations and motorway service areas.

DCS supplies products from 13 suppliers covering over 60 brands across the Health and Beauty, Makeup and Food categories.

In 2021 we further expanded our partnership with the introduction of Oral B power into InMotion stores. InMotion, the digital/tech arm of WHS Travel won all tenders in the UK for the previous space in Airport Duty-Free occupied by Dixons.

After unprecedented times during the COVID 19 pandemic which saw the travel industry grind to a halt, 2022 is delivering the highest turnover yet in WHS history with DCS, as summer bounces back!

January to June 2022 will deliver strongly and with the key summer months still ahead of us it is a very exciting time. All store formats are performing significantly ahead of forecasts and expectations, and we continue to work with the team with strong plans to deliver their biggest ever summer.
