March 2020 saw the first lockdown with COVID-19, this was a scary experience and meant consumers were unable to complete their weekly routines. And so Rapid Delivery was born! A service which allows a consumer to receive their shopping within minutes without leaving their house. Getir is one of the biggest players within this sector consisting of over 220 dark stores and 2 RDCs covering London, Manchester, Birmingham and many more cities.
In 2021 Getir’s full-year sales with DCS were sizeable… in 2022 their sales are already ahead of last year in just 4 months of trading. Getir is forecasted to finish in 2022 with a sales growth of over +120%!
This significant growth seen so far has been driven by 18 core range lines since February including the full Pampers range, Lenor Outdoorable, Oral B cross action refill heads 4pk and many more. We have activated their app with prize giveaways (hampers & a year's supply of Fairy Max Power), bundles on feminine care and social media exposure on Instagram for Pampers.
DCS has built a strong relationship with Getir and is working hard with the team to make sure that they have the correct core range on the app; activations across all suppliers to elevate exposure and maximise the sales opportunity; being creative with bundling, promotional offerings and fun prize giveaways to drive their business forward, all with a category led approach.
